Jack Karnes, Chairman

In 2010, Jack traveled with Tiffany and Bryon Applegate to Shadow of His Wings Orphanage (SOHWO), in Monjas, Guatemala. He had no idea how much this trip would change his life. God broke his heart for the widows and orphans of Guatemala. The trip ignited a passion and a vision for the Applegate's that led them to start 1:27 Missions Project. In doing so, they asked Jack to join them in making ministry a reality. Since then Jack has served on seven mission trips to SOHWO in Guatemala.

Jack has worked for RiceSelect for over 25 years, and he currently travels the US and Canada as their Business Development Director. He lives in Nixa, MO with his wife, Sandy, and together they have five children.
